Some nature lovers don’t mind the falling autumn leaves because that means Halloween is just around the corner. If that describes you, then there’s an amazing event coming up that’s right in your wheelhouse.

The Ghosts in the Garden event is scheduled to take place this year on Sunday, October 27, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. The Halloween celebration is free to attend and fun for the whole family. There are many events throughout the park taking place that afternoon, so be prepared!

For starters, you can carve a Jack-o-Lantern. There will be pumpkins available at the event to purchase. That’s not the end of the arts and crafts, either. Witches Winsome & Denise are available to help out at the different craft stations located throughout the garden. It’s a great opportunity to explore your creativity and get fully engrossed in the Halloween spirit.

A Costume Parade and Sweet Treats for Everyone in Attendance

A costume parade encourages people to dress up and share their creativity. There are also trick-or-treats for everyone in attendance. You can relive your youth or help your children fully experience and enjoy theirs this October. Planning a trip to Miami in the fall ensures that you’ll have a hauntingly good time.

What type of costume will you and the rest of your traveling party wear? Will you go with individual costumes or choose a theme that ties together? Whatever the case may be, make sure to pack everything you need in your suitcase so that you aren’t without a costume once you arrive in Miami. You could pick up something in the city but it may not be as good as the idea you had originally for what you’ll wear for the parade.
