Fireworks are indeed lighting up the skies tonight but as everyone celebrates the coming of a new year, I am also celebrating by blogiversary today! Woot! Yah. While everyone was partying last year, I was busy putting up this blog. I couldn’t even believe that it is already 1 year since that night when I decided to create Pink Heart String.
In truth, I wasn’t really sure of what to post in the blog. I just wanted to have a different place to write and express my mommy side. I usually post my more melodramatic write-ups at A Bouquet of Roses. I post lighter stuffs here which I prefer to share than my emotive writings on the other blog. Ideas just kept coming and I really didn’t have any intention of promoting this blog or making it grow. I just wanted to write whatever I can think of writing.
But then, I observed that blog views were growing and that my audience was starting to build up. So, I decided to write more. To be honest with you, I only write at least once a week. If I am in the mood, I write three in a week. Sometimes, I would let a week pass before I could post something new. I am busy with other online writing jobs, house plans to design and of course, Bella.
One year of blogging was fun for me. No pressures. Just fun. I am still looking into the growth of my social media which is something I have to worked on this year. I also hope to grow the blog even more. I once started a series called Little Luxuries before but things got busy and I wasn’t able to continue it. This year, I’d cling to my promise and work on posts about it every Sunday and finally turn it into a blog hop.
